Dear Friends, Physical Education Foundation of India, Tamilnadu Chapter, in association with National College & BIM ,is organizing a One-Day National Workshop on NEP 2020 (12th Sep 2026:Redefining Sports & Physical Education in Higher Education. I am delighted to share that Hon’ble Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Kerala and Governor of Tamil Nadu, will be the Chief Guest for the Inaugural Ceremony. This significant initiative will explore the transformative role of Sports and Physical Education under NEP 2020, bringing together educationists, academicians, sports leaders and stakeholders.

Glad to share that Thiru. Rajendra Arlekar, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu & Kerala, graced the inauguration as the Chief Guest. His gracious presence brought special significance to the workshop and highlighted the importance of Sports & Physical Education in shaping healthy, disciplined & empowered young citizens. The Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) jointly with National College organized the workshop to provide a valuable platform for Integrating Sports into the Higher Education Framework & also Positioning sports, physical education as an integral component of holistic education & campus life. My appreciation to Thiru. K. Raghunathan, Secretary, National College; Dr. Prasanna Balaji, Principal, National College; and the PEFI officials for their valuable contribution & for joining hands to advance the future of Sports &Physical Education.
