Chief Guest at the Unveiling of the Rotary Welcome Pillar
It was a pleasure and privilege to be the Chief Guest at the unveiling of the Rotary Welcome Pillar, a meaningful symbol of service and the spirit of Rotary. Grateful to be part of this special occasion organised by the Rotary Club of Theni Central Gems and to celebrate the club's commitment to community service and making a lasting impact.
Chief Guest – Commissioning of Four Dialysis Units at Usilampatti
Honoured to be the Chief Guest at the commissioning and unveiling of the Project Signage Board for *Four Dialysis Units* at Madurai District Government Hospital, Usilampatti, on 22 August 2026. This meaningful initiative, supported by *Rotary Clubs of Madurai, Madurai West, Madurai Meenakshi and Usilampatti, and sponsored by **SBI Mutual Fund*, is a wonderful step towards strengthening accessible healthcare and improving the lives of patients in our community. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of this impactful initiative and to contribute to a healthier society.

Happy to be present during the handing-over ceremony of the Dialysis Unit by RC Usilampatti @ Govt hospital &the unveiling of the project signage board. Appreciation to PDG Rajagovindasamy, Rtn Rajendran , Rtn Udayakumar & Host club members. In line with glad to Unveil the Rotary welcome board with a message about the ENDPOLIO initiative taken by RC. Theni Central Gems is an appreciable one. Congrats to host club team & Rtn Shanmugavel for the timely efforts. I appreciate both the clubs for enhancing the public image of Rotary International at large. organizing a press meeting to reach the unreached with Rotary’s success stories & future programs was the need of the hour program. Special mention to RCs, AGs, Presidents & Secretaries of theni regiion.

Inauguration of Scudder Craniofacial Centre | Rotary Global Grant Project
Honoured to be the Chief Guest at the inauguration of the Scudder Craniofacial Centre at Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet, on 17th August 2026. This remarkable initiative, supported through a Rotary Global Grant in collaboration with Rotary International, Rotary Club of Arcot Fort, Rotary Club of Sarasota Sunrise and Scudder Memorial Hospital, is dedicated to providing advanced craniofacial care and creating a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. It is a privilege to be part of this noble initiative that brings together service, healthcare and humanitarian commitment for a greater cause. Together, let us create lasting impact and serve humanity with compassion.
RI District 3231: Inauguration of Scudder Craniofacial Center, Global Grant project @ SMH Ranipet TamilNadu.
I sincerely appreciate the vision & collaborative spirit of the Rotary Club of Arcot Port, RI District 3231, and the Rotary Club of Sarasota Sunrise, RI District 6960, along with Scudder Memorial Hospital and The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, for making this remarkable Global Grant project a reality. With a project value of ₹1,40,66,840, supported by 13 sponsoring Rotary Clubs and the generous Directed Gift of PDG Jawarilal Jain, this initiative stands as a shining example of what Rotary can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose. The Scudder Craniofacial Centre will provide specialized care for children and adults with complex craniofacial conditions, including birth defects, injuries and tumors affecting the head, skull, face and jaw.This centre will not merely provide medical treatment, it will bring hope, dignity, confidence and a better quality of life to countless individuals and families. Appreciation and congratulations to the host club, District Grants team & everyone involved in this outstanding Rotary initiative. Special mention to DG Ravikumar, IPDG Suresh SMH Doctors & Authorities.

During this special Pre-MOU Signing Meeting, we had meaningful discussions on restoration, preservation, and strengthening of water bodies across Tamil Nadu. The discussions focused on improving water inflow & outflow, enhancing storage capacity, strengthening embankments, and exploring collaboration to support the Government’s water conservation initiatives & encourage greater public participation for the benefit of future generations.
We also discussed the initiatives to be taken in Education, Healthcare, Sports , Youth development & Women Empowerment. I reaffirmed Rotary’s commitment to working collaboratively with the Government of Tamil Nadu & other stakeholders to create a sustainable, inclusive, & lasting impact across communities.
Special note of Thanks to our Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru C Joseph Vijay avl, for extending such initiatives along with Rotary.
