RI District 3231: Inauguration of Scudder Craniofacial Center, Global Grant project @ SMH Ranipet TamilNadu.
It was a privilege & honor for me to be part of the inauguration of the Scudder Craniofacial Centre at Scudder Memorial Hospital, Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. I sincerely appreciate the vision & collaborative spirit of the Rotary Club of Arcot Port, RI District 3231, and the Rotary Club of Sarasota Sunrise, RI District 6960, along with Scudder Memorial Hospital and The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, for making this remarkable Global Grant project a reality. With a project value of ₹1,40,66,840, supported by 13 sponsoring Rotary Clubs and the generous Directed Gift of PDG Jawarilal Jain, this initiative stands as a shining example of what Rotary can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose. The Scudder Craniofacial Centre will provide specialized care for children and adults with complex craniofacial conditions, including birth defects, injuries and tumors affecting the head, skull, face and jaw.This centre will not merely provide medical treatment, it will bring hope, dignity, confidence and a better quality of life to countless individuals and families. Appreciation and congratulations to the host club, District Grants team & everyone involved in this outstanding Rotary initiative. During this special Pre-MOU Signing Meeting, we had meaningful discussions on restoration, preservation, and strengthening of water bodies across Tamil Nadu. The discussions focused on improving water inflow & outflow, enhancing storage capacity, strengthening embankments, and exploring collaboration to support the Government’s water conservation initiatives & encourage greater public participation for the benefit of future generations.
We also discussed the initiatives to be taken in Education, Healthcare, Sports , Youth development & Women Empowerment. I reaffirmed Rotary’s commitment to working collaboratively with the Government of Tamil Nadu & other stakeholders to create a sustainable, inclusive, & lasting impact across communities.
Special note of Thanks to our Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru C Joseph Vijay avl, for extending such initiatives along with Rotary.

A prestigious Rotary District 3170 gathering bringing together Rotarians, Rotaractors, and future leaders for an inspiring and impactful experience in Goa. The event features an exclusive interaction with Rotary International President 2026–27 Yinka Babalola, along with distinguished Rotary leaders and members. The programme includes the Rotary & Rotaract Enclave, Zonal Membership Conclave & G5 Meeting, followed by an exclusive Dinner with the RI President. It is an opportunity to Learn, Lead, Collaborate and Create Lasting Impact while building meaningful connections across the Rotary family.
Rotary International President Rtn. Yinka Babalola’s Visit to Delhi : Hosted by Districts 3011 & 3012, Delhi, India
It was a great honor and privilege to welcome our world leader, Rtn. Yinka Babalola, Rotary International President, along with his partner, Precy Babalola, to Delhi. The visit was marked by a series of enriching & memorable engagements, including a visit to RISAO, a meeting with Zone 4 Regional Leaders &Governors for an insightful address on Rotary’s 2030 Membership Goals, an exclusive interview with The Week magazine, the Rotary & Rotaract Champions Awards Presentation, &his gracious participation in the TRF Dinner Meet. Kudos to DG Ajeet Jalan 3011, DG Amit Gupta 3012 & their team for the arrangements & execution. Mention to PDG SharatJain for coordinating the itinerary in a well planned manner.
